ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about September 5, 1947, by the Early & Daniel Co., from Cincinnati, Ohio. PRODUCT: 57 25-pound bags of corn meal at Huntington, W. Va. LABEL IN PART : "Tuxedo Whole Corn Meal White." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent ex- creta fragments and insects; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : November 19, 1947. Default decree of condemnation. The prod- uct was ordered delivered to a charitable institution, for use as animal feed.
