ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about July 22 and August 5, 1947, from the State of Kentucky into the State of Tennessee. LABEL IN PART: "Admiration Flour," or "Cream Meal." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of rodent excreta fragments, rodent hair fragments, insect fragments, and larvae; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been 'prepared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION: June 14, 1948. A plea of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendant, the court imposed a fine of $1,000 on each of 2 counts, plus costs. The fine on count 2 was suspended, and the defendant was placed on pro- bation for 2 years.
