LABEL IN PART: "Tamales Best Ever Net Wt., 1 Lb. 3 Ozs. Packed by Whitten Bros. Canning Company, Paris, Texas." NATURE OF CHARGE: Misbranding, Section 403 (e) (2), the product failed to bear a label containing an accurate statement of the quantity of the contents. (The product was short-weight.) DISPOSITION: July 19, 1948. Default decree of condemnation. The product was destroyed. (Editor's note: In addition to being short-weight, the prod- uct was also undergoing progressive decomposition.)
