LIBELS FILED : On or about August 23 and 30,1948, Northern District of Georgia. ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about September 9 and December 5 and 26, 1946, from Chattanooga, Tenn. PRODUCT: Boston Brown Bread. 19 cases at Atlanta, Ga., and 14 eases at Grif- fin, Ga. Each case contained 24 12-ounce Kans. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. It was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION: September 28 and November 1, 1948. Default decrees of con- demnation. A portion of the product was ordered destroyed and the remainder was ordered delivered to a public institution.
