ALLEGED VIOLATION : On or about September 13, 1947, the defendants did, with intent to mislead and defraud, cause to be introduced and delivered for intro- duction into interstate commerce from the State of Michigan into the State of Alabama a number of cases of adulterated eggs. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of rotten and moldy eggs. DISPOSITION : January 24, 1949. Pleas of nolo contendere having been entered on behalf of both defendants, the court imposed a fine of $2,500 against the corporation and a fine of $1,000 against Mitchell Robin.
