ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about October 23 and November 5, 1947, from San 
Jose, Calif.
PRODUCT:   10   100-pound bags of black-eyed peas at Philadelphia, Pa.
NATURE OF CHARGE : The article was adulterated while held for sale after ship- 
ment in interstate commerce under Section 402 (a) (3), in that it consisted 
in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects.
DISPOSITION : November 8, 1948. Default decree of condemnation and destruc- 
tion.
