ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about September 23, 1948, by the Gallaway Milling Co., Bluff City, Tenn. PRODUCT: 72 25-pound bags of flour at St. Paul, Va. LABEL IN PART : "White Gold Flour." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance (examination showed the presence of insects, insect fragments, and rodent hairs); and, Section 402 (a) (4), the article had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : December 13, 1948. Default decree of condemnation. The prod- uct was ordered delivered to a public institution, for use other than for human consumption.
