NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article contained larvae, rodent hair fragments, and insect- and rodent-eaten popcorn; and, Sec- tion 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : February 24, 1948. Default decree of condemnation. The prod- uct was ordered sold to the highest bidder, for use other than for human consumption.
