ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about October 20, 1947, from Stuttgart, Ark. PRODUCT: 34 25-pound bags of rice at Middlesboro, Ky., in possession of the Middlesboro Wholesale Grocery Co. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects, insect fragments, rodent excreta, and rodent hairs: and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been held under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become con- taminated with filth.
