ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about July 23, 194S, from Clinton, Iowa. I BOOUCT: 51 100-pound bags of corn sugar in the possession of the Potosi Brewing Co., Potosi, Wis. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent urine and rodent pellets; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been held under insanitary condition^ u hereby it may have become contaminated with filth. The product was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION : December 8, 1948. Default decree of condemnation. As it ap- peared, a portion of the product was not contaminated and was ordered sold or otherwise disposed of for human consumption. The unfit portion was ordered sold or otherwise disposed of for use other than for human consumption.
