ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about September 10, 1949, from North Carolina, 
South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
PRODUCT: 11 cases, each containing 10 5-pound cartons, of frozen shrimp at 
New York, N. Y.
NATURE or CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in 
whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of de- 
composed shrimp. The product was adulterated while held for sale after ship- 
ment in interstate commerce.
DISPOSITION: December 7, 1949. Default decree of condemnation and de- 
struction.
