ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about September 27, 1949, by the New England Fish Co., from Ketchikan, Alaska. PRODUCT: 98 cases, each containing 48 cans, of pink salmon at Seattle, Wash. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of de- composed fish. DISPOSITION : January 9, 1950. The New England Fish Co., claimant, having consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond for segregation of the unfit portion, under the supervision of the Federal Security Agency. A total of 49 cases of the product was classified as good and released to the claimant, and the remainder of the product was destroyed.
