PRODUCT; Frozen dressed chickens. 45 boxes, containing approximately 2,700 pounds, at Omaha, Nebr., and 31,967 pounds at Council Bluffs, Iowa. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of (Omaha lot) a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent excreta and (Council Bluffs lot) rodent excreta and chicken excreta; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. sented to the entry of decrees, judgments of condemnation were entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law by washing, cleaning, and eviscerating, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
