NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy'substance by reason of the presence of fly fragments. DISPOSITION : January 26, 1950. Default decree of condemnation and destruc- tion. On February 6,1950, the court entered an amended order providing that the product be denatured under the supervision of the Food and Drug Admin- istration and sold for use in the manufacture of animal feed.
