ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about June 20,1949, by the Haines Oyster Co., from 
Seattle, Wash.
PRODUCT: 52 cans, each containing 6 pounds, of frozen clams at Port Hueneme, 
Calif.
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (1), the article contained a 
poisonous and deleterious substance, Qonyaulax toxin, which may have rendered 
the article injurious to health.
DISPOSITION : January 11, 1950. Default decree of condemnation and destruc- 
tion.
