ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about July 12 and August 2, 1949, from the State of Louisiana into the State of Mississippi. LABEL IN PART : "Squirrel Bolted White Corn Meal." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent excreta pellet fragments, rodent hair fragments, insect larvae cast skins, and insect parts; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION: February 20, 1950. A plea of guilty having been entered, the court fined the corporation $500.
