ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about July 8 and 12, 1949, from the State of Ohio into the State of West Virginia. LABEL IN PART : "White Corn Meal." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects, insect parts, rodent excreta, and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become con- taminated with filth. DISPOSITION : December 2, 1949. A plea of guilty having been entered, the court imposed a fine of $800, plus costs.
