ALLEGED SHIPMENT: Between the approximate dates of July 15, 1949, and January 13, 1950, from the State of Massachusetts into the States of Connecticut and Maine. LABEL IN PART: "Rydco Quality Zwiebacks Rusks Cinnamon [or "Plain"] Made By W. Rydberg Baking Co. East Cambridge Mass." and "Vort Rydberg's Swedish Limpa (Rye)." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted- in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of insects, insect frag- ments, and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : October 17, 1950. Pleas of guilty having been entered, the court fined the corporation $200 and the individual defendant $50.
