ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about August 17, 1950, by the Indiana Produce Co., from Huntingburg, Ind. PRODUCT: 50 boxes, each containing 60 pounds of butter at Louisville, Ky. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed animal substance. (Examination showed that the product had been manufactured from cream that was decomposed in whole or in part.) DISPOSITION : November 20,1950. The Indiana Produce Co., Huntingsburg, Ind., claimant, having consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond for denaturing into soap fat, under the supervision of the Food, and Drug Administration.
