ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about August 10, 1950, from New York, N. Y. PRODUCT: 5 bags, each containing 80 pounds, of chili peppers at San Francisco, Calif. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects and insect excreta, and of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of mold. It was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION : July 31, 1951. Default decree of condemnation and destruction.
