ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about November 19 and 20, 1951, by the Lake Shore Turkey Farm, from Swanton, Vt. PRODUCT: 60 180-pound barrels of dressed turkeys at New York, N. Y. LABEL IN PART : "Lake Shore Turkey Farm Genuine Vermont." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (b) (2), oats had been substi- tuted in part for turkeys; and, Section 402 (b) (4), oats had been added to the turkeys so as to increase their weight. Examination disclosed that the crops of the turkeys had-been stuffed with from % to l1^ pounds of dry oats. DISPOSITION : December 17, 1951. The shipper, claimant, having consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond for the removal of the crops and evisceration, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
