Christians Co. * * * Chicago, Ill." : ; :¦> : NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in part Of afilthy substance by reason of the presence of insects and insect fragments, manure, and rodent hair fragments, and by reason of the use of filthy cream in its preparation; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with DISPOSITION: June 23, 1952. A plea of nolo contendere having been entered on behalf of the corporation and a plea of guilty having been entered on behalf of the individual defendant, the court fined the corporation $500, which was suspended, and suspended sentence against the individual defendant.
