ALLEGED SHIPMENT: During December 1946, from Indianapolis, Ind. PRODUCT: 172 cases, each containing 24 10 ounce cans, of tomato sauce at Buffalo, N. Y. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. The product was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. (Examination showed that it was undergoing chemical decomposition.) DISPOSITION : March 4,1952. Default decree of condemnation and destruction.
