ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about February 4, 1952, by Martha Jane Candies, Inc., from Waco, Tex. PRODUCT: 30 cases, each containing 24 10-ounce bags, of candy at Elk City, Okla. LABEL IN PART : (Bags) "Martha Jane Fine Candies." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent excreta and rodent hairs; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : May 9, 1952. Default decree of condemnation and destruction.
