ALLEGED SHIPMENT : Between the approximate dates of December 7, 1951, and April 16, 1952, from New Prague, Minn., and Great Falls, Mont. PRODUCT: Flour. 266 50-pound bags and 10 25-pound bags at Brookings, S. Dak., in the possession of the Beattie-Steinborn Co. NATURE OE CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent urine; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been held under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. The article was adulter- ated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION: June 9, 1952. The Beattie-Steinborn Co., claimant, having ad- mitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law, under the supervision of the Federal Security Agency. 100 pounds of flour were segregated as unfit for human consumption and were destroyed.
