ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about October 24, 1952, by Rubenstein & Son Pro- duce, Inc., from Dallas, Tex. PRODUCT: 7 30-pound cartons of shelled pecans at Denver, Colo. Examination showed that the product had an odor and taste resembling naphthalene. LABEL IN PART : "Lady Rita Fancy Select PeKans." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article was unfit for food by reason of the presence of a foreign substance which rendered it disagreeable to the taste.
