ALLEGED SHIPMENT : Between the approximate dates of May 14 and July 4,1952, from Springfield, III., Memphis, Tenn., and Louisville, Ky. PRODUCT: 137 lOO-pound bags of flour and 38 lOO-pound bags of cake mix at Columbus, Ga. ; NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted in whole or in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of insects. The products were adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION : October 15, 1952. The Southland Grocery Co., Columbus, Ga., claimant, has in consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the products be released under bond to be denatured and converted to nonfood use, under the supervision of the „ Federal Security Agency.
