ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about October 14,1952, by White & Nelson, from Cam- bridge, Md. PRODUCT: 284 pint cans of oysters at Chicago, Ill. LABEL IN PART : "Cap't John's Fresh Oysters." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (b) (2), water had been sub- stituted in part for oysters; and, Section 402 (b) (4), water had been added to the product and mixed and packed with it so as to increase its bulk or weight and reduce its quality. DISPOSITION : November 12, 1952. No claimant having appeared and it appear- ing to the court that the product had become so decomposed as to constitute a health menace, judgment was entered ordering that the product be destroyed.
