NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a), the product consisted in
whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of birds which
were contaminated with fecal matter.
DISPOSITION: January 12, 1953. Default decree of condemnation. · The court
ordered that samples of the poultry be delivered to the Food and Drug Administration
and that theTemainder be destroyed.
