ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about October 17, 1952, by the Lifco Seafood Co., from Portland, Oreg. Seattle Wash. Examination showed that the article consisted of about 20 small dried shrimp in a catsup type sauce. The shrimp were hard, brown or black, and brittle. LABEL IN PART : (Can) "Lifco Brand Shrimp Appetizer." NATURE OF CHARGE: Misbranding, Section 403 (a), the label statement "Shrimp Appetizer" was false and misleading since it failed to reveal the material fact that the shrimp in the article were dried shrimp.
