ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about July 2,1953, by Humphreys Seafood Co., from New Orleans, La. PRODUCT: 498 eases, each containing 24 cans, of shrimp at Boston, Mass. LABEL, IN PART: (Can) "Delta-Main Brand Small Wet Pack Shrimp Drained Weight 5 Ozs." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of decomposed shrimp. DISPOSITION: September 14, 1953. Larose Canning Co., Inc., Houma, La., claimant, having consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be released under bond for segregation and destruction of the unfit portion, under the supervision of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.
