ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about January 24, 1953, from Bucksport, Maine. PRODUCT: 80 cases, each containing 24 1-pound, 3-ounce cans, of blueberries at Norfolk, Va. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. The article was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION : June 4, 1954. Default decree of condemnation. The court ordered that the product be delivered to a State or Federal institution, for use as animal feed.
