ALLEGED SHIPMENT :    On or about December 2, 1953, and May 18 and June 16,
1954, from Fresno, Calif. 
PRODUCT:   254   30-pound cartons of raisins at Clear Lake, Iowa. 
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a)   (3), the article consisted in
whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects.    The
article was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate
commerce. 
DISPOSITION :    September 17,1954.   Default decree of condemnation.   The court
ordered that the product be sold, conditioned that it be denatured and disposed
of as animal feed.
