ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about July 14, 1954, various quantities of cream were shipped into the State of Illinois by individual shippers in the States of Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Indiana. PRODUCT: 26 64-pound boxes of butter at Chicago, Ill. RESULTS OF .INVESTIGATION : The cream, which examination revealed to be de- composed, was converted into butter by the Western United Dairy Co., Chicago, 111., after shipment in interstate commerce. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of its having been prepared from decomposed cream.
