INFORMATION FILED : 3-29-57, W. Dist. Mo., against Hershey Wholesale Grocery 
Co., North Kansas City, Mo., and James E. Dreiling, warehouse superintendent 
for the corporation.
ALLEGED VIOLATION: Between 7-31-56 and 10-12-56, while quantities of flour 
and rice were being held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce, the 
defendants caused the articles to be placed in a building that was accessible 
to rodents and to be exposed to contamination by rodents, which acts resulted 
in the articles being adulterated.
CHARGE: 402(a) (3)—contained rodent excreta; and 402 (a) (4)—held under 
insanitary conditions.
PLEA :    Guilty.
DISPOSITION :   5-3-57.   Fine of $500 against defendants jointly.
