ALLEGED VIOLATION: Between 11-21-55 and 4-17-56, while a quantity'of un- 
popped popcorn was being held for sale after shipment in interstate com- 
merce, the defendant caused the article to be placed in a building that was 
accessible to rodents and birds and to be exposed to contamination by rodents 
and birds, which acts resulted in the article being adulterated.
CHARGE: 402 (a) (3)—contained rodent and bird excreta; and 402 (a) (4)— 
held under insanitary conditions.
PLEA :   Nolo contendere.
DISPOSITION:   5-17-57.   Corporation—$100 fine plus costs.
