LABEL IN PART: "Ethical * * * Tablets Chewable Multivitamins" and "Cap- 
sules   Multivitamin."
RESULTS OE INVESTIGATION : Examination showed that the vitamin tablets con- 
tained not more than 39.2 percent of the declared amount of vitamin C and 
that the vitamin capsules contained no vitamin C.
LIBELED :   On or about 11-5-57, Dist. Conn.
CHARGE: 402(b) (1)—a valuable constituent, vitamin C, had been in whole or 
in part omitted or abstracted from the articles when shipped; and 403(a) — 
the label statements (vitamin tablets) "Each Tablet Contains * * * Ascorbic 
Acid 75 mg." and (vitamin capsules) "Ascorbic Acid 100 mg." were false and 
misleading.
DISPOSITION :   12-10-57.   Default—destruction.
